Are you sure it's a "pure" DNx QuickTime? After reading it, I went in and did some further testing of my own, and noticed some very odd discripencies. Same-as-source Quicktime exports from MC have been problematic, mostly appearing completely black in ME. When venturing into the Output Module, and selecting QuickTime as your export format, you would immediately head into the Codec Settings, to set everything up for your export.
